Zoë first became interested in physiotherapy while growing up as a dancer, where she experienced a range of injuries that sparked her curiosity about the body’s ability to heal and move. This early experience inspired her to pursue a career helping others recover and return to the activities they love.
She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and spent several years working as a kinesiologist in multi-disciplinary clinics before moving to Ireland to complete her Physiotherapy degree at the Royal College of Surgeons. She started practicing physiotherapy in a sports rehabilitation clinic in Dublin, where she gained valuable experience working with a wide range of injuries. She is also a certified mat and reformer pilates instructor who enjoys integrating pilates principles into her treatment plans to build strength, mobility, and resilience. With a strong background in movement science, Zoë takes a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to her practice.
Zoë is excited to be back home in Vancouver enjoying the city’s beautiful scenery. Outside of the clinic, she can often be found training at the gym, teaching pilates and ballet classes or cheering on her favourite sports teams.
If you are interested in incorporating pilates into your physiotherapy rehab be sure to ask Zoë for more details.
