Sydney brings a unique perspective to counselling, combining years of experience supporting clients’ physical health as a kinesiologist with her training as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. After working as a Kinesiologist at City Sports + Physio Clinic since 2020, Sydney recognized the important connection between physical and mental health in supporting long-term healing, resilience, and overall well-being. This inspired her to pursue a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and expand her role as a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
Drawing from her experience in movement and rehabilitation, Sydney has seen firsthand how closely the mind and body are connected, and how our thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences can influence one another. While quality movement and physical empowerment remain important foundations of health, she also deeply values supporting the emotional and psychological aspects of each person’s well-being.
Sydney strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. She approaches counselling through a compassionate, non-judgmental, and culturally curious lens, using person-centred, strength-based, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients navigate life’s changes and challenges.
