Originally from the UK, Adi spent his teenage years in Canada and graduated from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan with his Bachelors in Human Kinetics. Here he took a keen interest in exercise physiology, nutrition and rehabilitation. After graduating, his yearn for the UK took him back where he went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University in Leeds, England.  He is now thrilled to be back in BC enjoying an active lifestyle, through playing soccer at the local community centres, snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the gorgeous BC wilderness in the summer!

Adi is keen on helping patients achieve their best rehabilitation potential, and get them back to doing what they love. His familiarity working with people having undergone orthopaedic surgery, neuro-surgery, general-surgery procedures, older adults, as well as years of experience working as a certified personal trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP), he is confident he can help you achieve your full rehabilitative potential. His treatment approach focuses on your specific goals, and tailors treatment, exercises, and education to best help you in your journey to recovery.

Adi has several years’ experience working as a physiotherapist for Vancouver Coastal Health, in both the acute trauma / rehabilitation wards and orthopaedic outpatients. Working in various hospital settings has allowed him to work and treat a diverse population with diverse medical conditions. During his time in orthopaedic physiotherapy outpatients, he treated and rehabilitated patients after total knee (TKA)/ total hip (THA)/ total shoulder (TSA)/ and reverse shoulder (RTSA) replacements, as well as other orthopaedic post-surgical patients.

Outside of work, Adi has a strong interest in the research of the role of nutrition for both athletic performance, exercise recovery and rehabilitation. He has completed a Master’s degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University. Here he learnt about optimizing exercise performance and recovery through nutrition for a wide range of population groups, including youth sport teams, professional athletes, the elderly or clients with underlying health conditions.
