Andy Dobbs

Registered Massage Therapist, BScKin

Andy is a graduate of the massage therapy program at Vancouver Career College. Since graduation, his treatment has primarily utilized deep and smooth Swedish massage techniques to release muscle tissue in areas such as the neck, shoulders, low back, and legs. He enjoys helping patients become pain-free when living their active lifestyle as well as office workers experiencing discomfort while working at their desks. He commonly performs a variety of myofascial releases, range of motion exercises, and has taken extra training in treatment of TMJ disorders, and Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique (L.A.S.T.) in the hip/pelvis region.

Andy grew up enjoying many sports including hockey, baseball, golf, and soccer which is how he developed his interest in athletic biomechanics. Prior to massage therapy school, Andy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge. He’ll always love talking about fantasy football or baseball, just don’t ask him how well his teams usually fare! Outside of work, Andy also carries a passion for old-school hip-hop and the petty drama combined with competition found on MTV’s “The Challenge”.

Andy is always welcoming new patients whether they are seeking a return to pain-free activity or sport, or simply soft-tissue maintenance and injury prevention. Additionally, Andy is always open to anyone on an ICBC claim from a motor vehicle accident or a WSBC claim from a work-related injury.
