Supporting your health and fitness, beyond the clinic!

Although this may seem like a no-brainer, your health is important to us, and not just when you visit us for an appointment. During your time with us at the clinic, we do our best to help you prevent or recover from any ailments that may be preventing you from getting the most out of your daily sports and activities; and while we tend to focus on the prevention and rehabilitation of specific injuries, we also hope to support your health outside of City Sports & Physiotherapy as well. In other words, we want to help you achieve your ideal physical condition, whether you are recovering from an injury, trying to prevent one, or are in perfect health.

For example, Timberly George, one of our partners here at City Sports & Physiotherapy, has made it a priority to motivate and support her clients both inside and outside of the clinic. Timberly is an avid runner and cyclist and is always on the move, taking on trails and other challenges offered by the diverse Vancouver landscape. Constantly involved in athletics, Timberly uses Strava , the GPS Cycling and Running App, which allows you to connect with other Strava users, follow their runs and rides and other activities, and share yours. By connecting with her clients on Strava, Timberly has been able to support and motivate them, sharing her runs and cycling rides and monitoring theirs. As you can imagine, sharing your fitness routines with your physio can be an incredible motivator in itself!
