We get a lot of questions at the clinic from clients who are considering the class. Here are the answers to some common ones:
Q: Do I have to be a runner to try this class?
A: No! Anyone can take the class. It is designed for anyone looking for an alternative to the loading and impact of weight bearing sports and activities. You don’t need to know how to swim, but being comfortable in water certainly helps. Flotation belts are worn during the class so no chance of drowning!
Q: Why should I water run?
A: To maintain fitness if you are injured. To increase your fitness if you are currently inactive and looking for a gentle form of exercise on your body. To improve your land running technique. To provide a good form of low impact cross training for people who do a lot of impact activities.

Timberly has been teaching this class for the past nine years. She uses video feedback to help correct technique and provides advice on how to incorporate pool running into your current fitness schedule. The class is designed as a one-time clinic to teach the proper form so that you can go to any pool and do it on your own time.
